What We Do
Training Solutions
Have you been using QuickBooks for a while, but you are just not sure that you are getting
the most out of your software investment? We can provide one-on-one training on an arranged schedule to help you become more familiar and comfortable with your QuickBooks
We custom tailor your training sessions to what you want and need to learn. You learn via hands-on, using your equipment and systems which you are familiar with, dealing with issues you already face day-in and day-out.
We can teach you and your staff
- to do account, bank and credit card reconciliations.
- how to properly post fixed asset purchases and sales, new loans and credit lines, or set up a petty cash account.
We often answer questions about coding transactions by phone or email.
Our Support
We are experienced in multiple versions and industry-specific editions. Being a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor means that we are fully capable of assisting you with the majorityof your QuickBooks issues. Unfortunately, there may be some issues that we cannot correct and we may direct you to Intuit Tech Support.
Telephone Support
We are just a phone call away and extremely eager to provide help and guidance. Please remember that our time is as valuable as yours and that there are other people who need the same consideration. If it appears that you are going to need some lengthy support please schedule a remote computer appointment.
Appointments
We schedule all of our sessions via appointment requests.
As an extra service we provide a schedule of appointments for the year. Our year for scheduling begins February 1 and runs through January 31 of the following year. Our reasoning for this is that January is the time 1099’s and W2’s has to be completed and distributed by the end of the month.
Appointments can consist of training, answering questions, helping with sales tax, providing advice on cleanup, and much more. Throughout the year we are helping our clients ensure their QuickBooks is up-to-date, ready to complete the 1099’s and W2’s, and ready to submit to their accountant to prepare their taxes.
We have found that having a schedule with one format does not work for all of our clients. We fit the year schedule to fit the needs of our clients. We have the ability to create weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, every other month, quarterly, and twice a year schedules.
We are also aware life happens and there will be times when you will need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. We request, when possible, please provide us at least a day notice when there is a need to reschedule. This will give us the opportunity to possibly schedule someone else for that time
Session Length
The sessions are a minimum of one hour, giving you time to focus-in on specific target areas.
People can only assimilate and process so much new information at one time. That’s why we never schedule training sessions for longer than 4 hours in a single day.
Following these time guidelines avoids information overload and trainee fatigue which ultimately leads to frustration with the learning process.
The average time is usually 2 hours.
Session Location
All of our sessions are remote.
We use Teamviewer or a similar single-use password protection software for data connection and phone for audio communication. This allows us to see exactly what you see. By using this software we can show you how to accomplish what you are trying to do as well as explain it via phone.
